Shift Fort Pivot Pin Repair

Recently performed a repair on Cody Clinton's new Pinz that had a broken Shift Fork Pivot Pin on 1st & Reverse shift fork.  Many thanks to everyone who contributed useful information to perform this job!

BTW- If you find this on your Pinz, STOP DRIVING IMMEDIATELY!!!  GET IT FIXED before you tear up a transmission.

After removing the flange cover, the pin actually found itself sliding inward towards the transmission (PANIC!!!) while trying to remove it with a remedial grabber tool.

Best result was to locate a round powerful magnet from Northern Tool, and carefully work the pin out until it could be grabbed by a pair of heavy pliers.  Since the pin slid inward, drilling a hole was not an option.  Welding was not an option either (no ground).

This job was tricky, so the shade tree guy better pull the shade back and make sure he doesn't screw this one up!!!
